Research Interests: Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology

Research Description: Basic genetics, cell biology, and molecular biology of the ciliated protozoan Tetrahymena thermophila, application of techniques developed in this versatile organism to other biologically important protozoa, like the agriculturally important fish parasite Ichthyophthirius multifiliis.
